What you get

A walk of your land, on site

We walk the site with you and explain what we see: slope, grading, soil conditions, home siting and driveway access.

Risks flagged before you commit

We flag risks like a steep grade, utility connections or unclear property pins, so you hear about them on the land, not at the county counter.

Questions to ask, and who to ask

We tell you what to ask your builder, your excavator, the utilities and the county, so you go into those conversations prepared.

Vacant sagebrush lot with juniper and ponderosa pine, survey stakes with orange flagging, and snowy Cascade peaks beyond.

How it works

  1. We start with an intake review to confirm your project fits our services. If it needs a planning application, HOA architectural review, or anything else outside our services, we flag it early.
  2. On the land, we go through what we see and what it could mean for your plans.
  3. You take what you learned to your builder, excavator, utilities and county. You and your builder make every decision.

What we don't do

We don't do construction work, surveying, engineering, geotechnical reports or septic design.

What customers say

Common questions

What does a site walk cover?
Slope, grading, utility connections, property pins, soil conditions, home siting and driveway access. We explain what we see and what it could mean for your plans. We help you understand your options. We are not a surveyor, engineer or soil lab.
What does it cost?
There is no published price. Request a quote and tell us about your land.
Will you do the construction?
No. We guide and advise. You or your licensed builder make and sign every construction decision. We help you know what to ask.
Where do you work?
Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson Counties, Oregon. Ask us; we take some projects outside these counties case by case.
Can we talk it through before a site walk?
Yes. Tell us about your project. A real person responds within 24 business hours.
